
Overview
Aurora Lloro is an analyst in the risk advisory services department at Kaufman Rossin. She focuses her practice on bank regulatory compliance, including evaluation and testing of business processes, development and maintenance of consumer compliance programs, and internal audit projects. She joined the firm in 2019.
In her prior role as a financial examiner and analyst at The Florida Office of Financial Regulation, Aurora built an excellent foundation for her practice at the firm. In that role, she was responsible for conducting financial and risk management analyses and rating financial institutions’ capital, asset quality, earnings, liquidity, and sensitivity to market risk. She examined adversely rated institutions between $30 million and $4 billion dollars, and thoroughly reviewed, evaluated, and verified compliance with regulations including Bank Secrecy Act, Anti-Money Laundering Act, Office of Foreign Assets Control, USA PATRIOT Act, and others. She was also responsible for completing compliance and Safety and Soundness examinations/audits of various financial institutions working in conjunction with the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) and the Federal Reserve Bank (FRB).
Aurora earned her BBA in Finance and Real Estate from Florida International University, and completed a variety of risk management courses at FDIC Corporate University. She is a Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist (CAMS).
